AIRCRAFT APPROVALS

The table below details the aircraft that are currently approved for Dynon’s SkyView HDX STC, what we’re currently working on, what’s up next, and what models we are most likely to seek approval for beyond that. We expect the list of planned aircraft to evolve over time.

Please note that this is our projected schedule. The timeline of certification projects of any type with the FAA is beyond any company’s direct control. Please ask a Dynon staffer for further information on the specifics of each aircraft application.

Nearly 600 Piston Single Aircraft Models Now Approved (AML++)

AML++ is the Dynon program that brought approval for the Dynon Certified suite to nearly 600 aircraft, allowing more pilots than ever to benefit from Dynon’s affordable avionics solutions. In order to speed development and certification, these approvals will not initially include autopilot, which requires more extensive per-aircraft R&D.

UPCOMING AUTOPILOT APPROVALS

The following autopilot projects are currently under development and are subject to change. The exact family of sub-models, years, and serial numbers that these approvals may apply to are uncertain until certification is obtained and may change. If Autopilot availability is crucial to your panel plans, please wait until autopilot is available for your airplane before making upgrade decisions.

Beechcraft Bonanza Autopilot Expansion
  • Exact submodels and serial number ranges are TBD and subject to change.
  • Currently expected to include Bonanza 36/A36 models.
  • This project will not include approval for additional 33 or 35 models at this time.
Q3 2021
Cessna 182
  • Exact submodels and serial number ranges are TBD and subject to change.
  • This project will not include approval for the original 182 or 182A-D.
2021
Beechcraft Baron 58
  • Exact submodels and serial number ranges are TBD and subject to change.
  • This project will not include approval for the 55, 56, or 58P.
2021
Mooney M20
  • Exact submodels and serial number ranges are TBD and subject to change.
  • Dynon's M20J demonstrator aircraft represents “mid-body” M20F-M20K airplanes, and models within this group are the most likely to be approved in this project. The M20-M20E “short-body” airplanes are similar; it may be possible to approve some of these in this project as well. This project is not likely to include an approval for “long-body” M20L-M20V airplanes.
