Welcome to the Dynon Spirit of Aviation Week
We’re sad that we won’t get to see you at Oshkosh this year, but we’re excited to bring you a variety of exciting aviation content this week. On this page you’ll find our schedule of events, which include forums, “Virtual Booth Visits”, and other webinars that Dynon is hosting.
Dynon is also excited to partner with EAA as the sponsor of the official Spirit of Aviation Week live streams.
SCHEDULE OF LIVE EVENTS
For EAA’s Spirit of Aviation Week, we are hosting a variety of live events throughout the week covering everything Dynon and Advanced.
We’ll give away PRIZES to those of you that participate via Zoom or Facebook Live throughout the events. Prizes include Dynon jackets, Aircraft Spruce gift cards, Dynon Bucks, Made in WA products, and more. One grand prize winner will receive a Dynon D3. To be eligible to win the D3 you must register and attend at least one of the events between Wednesday and Saturday (Tuesday’s EAA event registration is handled directly through EAA; registrations for that are not known to Dynon, and therefore are not eligible for the grand prize).
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM (CDT) / 1:00 PM Pacific
What's New at Dynon / Planning for Dynon Certified: What You Need to Know
Dynon Certified builds on the work that EAA and Dynon pioneered to bring affordable avionics to type certificated aircraft. SkyView HDX— Dynon’s flagship system—is now available in nearly 600 type certificated aircraft models, with even more models and autopilot approvals coming soon. Learn about the latest updates to the program, including plans to expand the STC to your aircraft. We'll also cover system architecture, design, choosing your system, installation, and of course answer your questions!
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Pacific Time
Planning for Success: System Design and Layout of your Dynon or Advanced System
Learn about the architectural, design, and layout considerations that will help you plan for a successful avionics installation in your aircraft. Topics covered include: required and optional system components; where modules mount; how to plan your SkyView Network, including number and length of network cables; connecting other components, including serial-connected devices; equipping for IFR.
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Pacific Time
Virtual Booth Visit: Advanced AF-5000
Although we can’t visit with you in person this year, we can still show you our products virtually. At this “Virtual Booth Visit”, we’ll show you the reasons you should choose AF-5000, preview some of the new features coming to AF-5000 v16 software, and take your questions.
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Pacific Time
ADVANCEDPANEL from Advanced Flight Systems
As an aircraft homebuilder, are you a bit intimidated about wiring today’s increasingly complex systems? An ADVANCEDPANEL lets you entrust this important aspect of your aircraft to the people that know aircraft systems best - us! At this event we'll tell you about the advantages and benefits of choosing an ADVANCEDPANEL. We'll also explain the design and ordering process, show you examples of previous panels, cover pricing, and also answer your questions!
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Pacific Time
Virtual Booth Visit: SkyView HDX Demo
Although we can’t visit with you in person this year, we can still demonstrate our products to you virtually. At this “Virtual Booth Visit”, we'll do a real-time interactive demo of SkyView HDX and take your questions on anything Dynon-related. It’s almost like being at Oshkosh. SkyView HDX is available in experimental, LSA, and nearly 600 certified aircraft models.
Limited Time Offers
We don’t do “show specials”, but we are currently running a couple of programs to help you FLYDYNON. One of them - for the D3 - is also a fundraiser for aviation causes.
Product Brochures
Normally we’d have these available at the booth for you to take home with you. They’re almost as good virtually. If you print them in real size, the back few pages contain real size cutouts of our avionics. If you’d like an actual brochure, send our team a note - we’d be happy to send you one!
